In 1935, the Industrial Engineer Ignasi Ponti Grau (Barcelona 1910-1993) and Lluís Tribó Bonjonch (Maldà 1906-Barcelona 2008) established a professional law firm in the name of Ignasi Ponti, dedicated to the protection of intellectual property, which soon became known as Oficina Ponti.
In 1976 it became a limited company under the name Ponti i Tribó SL, until 2003, when it became known as Oficina Ponti, SL (2003-2008). 2008 was the year it became a professional limited partnership under the name Oficina Ponti, SLP. In 2018, it became Ponti & Partners, SLP to emphasise the incorporation of partners into the company.
In 2017 we incorporated the team from Morgades del Rio, SLP, another established state-level intellectual property firm. This arrangement has enabled us to increase in size, improve our capabilities and broaden our range of specialisms within the different technical and legal fields.
Nowadays, with a team of 50 people, we have a renewed commitment to improving our services, training our professionals and investing in technology.
