Lawyer. She joined PONTI & PARTNERS in 2017 as a result of the integration of the firm Morgades del Rio Renter, SLP.
She holds a Law degree from the University of Barcelona, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property from Pompeu Fabra University. Moreover she has completed several training and specialization courses in Intellectual Property.
Her professional career in the field of Intellectual Property began in 1988. She is mainly involved in advising on trademark matters. Her experience includes proceedings before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) and the various foreign national offices. Among other issues, she deals with the filing of oppositions, responses to official communications, appeals and invalidity actions. She manages the trademark portfolios of numerous companies worldwide and advises on contractual issues, licenses, coexistence agreements, assignments, trademark infringements, domain names and on any Intellectual Property issue.
She is member of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB).
Her working languages are Spanish, Catalan and English, and she has basic knowledge of French.
