IP consultant in the field of patents, specialized in the engineering sector, Jesús joined PONTI & PARTNERS in 2019.
In 2004 he was granted a six-year research scholarship by the Superior Council of Scientific Investigations (CSIC) of the Spanish government for carrying out his doctorate on wireless chemical sensors. In 2010 he worked as a teacher in the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).
After having obtained his doctorate with excellent “cum laude”, he worked for five years in the research and development department of different companies, where he came into contact with intellectual property, in particular with the automotive industry. Furthermore, he has been working for four years as a patent technician in several patent firms. His professional experience in the field of patents includes the drafting and prosecution of Spanish, European and international patent applications, as well as the drafting of reports on patentability, patent infringements and freedom to operate studies. His practice includes several technical fields, including mechanics, electronics, chemical sensors and computer implemented inventions.
His working languages are English, Catalan and Spanish.
