Lawyer. She joined PONTI & PARTNERS in 2008; previously, she practised as in-house IP counsel for perfumery-cosmetic and confectionery manufacturers as well as IP lawyer in other trademark agencies.
She earned her degree in Law from University of Barcelona (UB) and holds a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property from the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB). Moreover, she has attended several specialization courses and seminars in IP.
Her practice includes advice on IP Rights all over the World, the defence of our clients’ rights before the Spanish Patents and Trademarks Office (OEPM), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), Foreign Offices and the Courts, not only Spanish Courts but the General Court of the EU in Luxembourg as well. In particular, her practice before the OEPM and the EUIPO encompasses filing and responding to oppositions, appeals and invalidation actions and also responding to objections. Before the Courts, she appeals decisions issued by the OEPM and the EUIPO filing contentious-administrative appeals before the Spanish Courts and analogous appeals before the General Court of the EU.
Likewise, she dedicates a significant part of her time to solve IP conflicts around the World trying to negotiate beneficial solutions for all the parties involved.
She handles major clients’ IP Rigths’ portfolios around the World offering global advice.
Member of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB) and the AIPPI.
Her working languages are Spanish, Catalan and English and has basic knowledge of French.
