Fraudulent communications regarding your patent, trademark and domain name applications

February 6, 2019

More and more often, our customers receive commercial communications asking for the payment of specific amounts in order to register their trademarks, patents, designs or domain names in alleged official registers, or even to carry out payments for the maintenance of rights.

These communications often include emblems or symbols of official organizations that may mislead their recipients. These practices, widespread and of questionable legality, are being investigated by the competent EU authorities.

In this sense, we recommend that you always verify that all communications relating to the maintenance of your rights come from our firm, since we are registered agents before the official organisations and responsible for the defence and monitoring of your Intellectual Property Rights.
