The call for the CDTI Neotec 2020 grants program for the implementation of new business projects by small innovative companies is now open.
Purpose: financing the launch of new business projects that require the use of technologies or knowledge developed from research activity, and in which the business strategy is based on technology development.
Beneficiaries: small innovative companies. Such firms must be constituted maximum within the three years prior to the deadline for the submission of applications under this call.
Eligible expenses: application and maintenance costs for patents and other intellectual property rights, among others.
Time frame: From April 17th to June 30th 2020
Budget: grants up to 70% of the project’s budget, with a maximum grant amount of 250,000 euros per beneficiary
Projects: projects of 1 or 2 years duration. One-year projects must start on January 1st 2021 and end on December 31st 2021, and two-year projects must end on December 31st 2022.
Evaluation criteria: among others, assessment of the project’s commercial exploitation plan with a reference to the Intellectual Property management plan.
