Global piracy is a real threat with great negative impact on organizations and the economy. To try to prevent it and to preventively detect counterfeit products and goods and remove them from circulation, PONTI & PARTNERS offers a service based on customs transit control measures in territories of origin and destination of goods.

In order to protect our clients’ legitimate products, we request customs to detain goods suspected of infringing industrial or intellectual property rights in any member state of the European Union. The process is initiated through the application for customs action (eAFA), which allows us to monitor the notifications coming from the different customs authorities and to collaborate with them when a suspicious product is detected to prevent it from entering the territory in question.
